• Attention RLS Members
After many months of review and discussion the Board of Directors
approved a new updated Safety Rule Book in August, 2012. The revised Safety
Rule Book includes rule changes that were developed in the first year of
train operations with the new Hunter Hobby Park remodeling project. We will
be publishing these rules in booklet form in a few weeks along with a map of
the entire railroad, track diagrams of all yards, stations and sidings with
switch numbers and landmarks for easy identification. You will be mailed a
copy of the Safety Rule Book for your possession per Rule 102 in a few
weeks.
Please take a moment to review these simple safety rules so we can continue
to operate the Riverside Live Steamers railroad in a safe and secure manner.
Remember Rule 101-Every member of the Riverside Live Steamers is
responsible for safety and the enforcement of these safety rules. (Click Here To View Updated Club Rules)
Safety First,
Rich Casford
Roadmaster/President

January 27th Public Run Day Photos

Very Windy and Cold at RLS on the 27th, after two trips with no passengers in the
station OS closed the railroad down at 1:00PM. We only handled about
90+ passengers. We were ready however, Brook was sitting in the station at
9:30 AM, safety's lifting, brakeman on aboard but no public. It looked like
it could rain at any time but never did. Steam photos sure look good with the cold temp. -Rich
